Jenson Button on Pole at the Australian Grand Prix!

If the begining of the F1 season opener at Melbourne is anything to go by, we are in for a treat!

In what can only be termed as fairytaled start, Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello have claimed a front row sweep for the new Brawn GP team. What is remarkable is the fact that at first time in 38 races the field will line up without either a Ferrari or a McLaren on the front row.

This is an amazing turnaround for the former Honda driver, who didn’t really have a future in F1 when Honda decided to pull the plug last December from the F1 circuit due to the credit crunch.

Of course, Ross Brawn, the ex-team boss of the Honda Racing F1 Team, bought the team from Honda. And there has been no looking back! From the onset itself the Mercedes-Benz engined Brawn have continued to set the pace.

Lets hope the season lives up to the opener!

Cheers

Jais

A Thought..

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived … I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practice resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms..."
